Wow! Meet the Summer Bunch! An incredible group of future 5th graders. Today is our very first day of summer school. As we learned about each other, we visited about our three rules for this summer.
1-Respect Yourself: We need to always show people our very best. We respect ourselves by our actions and our words.
2-Respect Others: We show respect for other people by the choices we make.
3-Respect Property: We show respect for our school and our classroom.
It is pretty exciting that we each get our very own laptop to use during summer school. Today, we explored various websites to help us with multiplication facts. It was just in time before our first rocket math test. All of us did an exceptional job. Yahoo!
We met some of the helpful people who will be working with us this summer. Mrs. Percy, our school nurse, and Ms. Swartz, our office manager, are just a few of the friendly faces we will see each day. Would you believe that we have two principals who will be working at summer school? Mr. Sinclair and Mr. Morehead stopped by our classroom to say hello.
The first day flew by, I wonder what the second day will bring?
